As a leading global trader and distributor of dairy products, Interfood connects suppliers and customers worldwide while also providing services in logistics, quality assurance, and market insights. Besides supporting the competition, Interfood will give a lecture, host an in-house day and a variety of other events, offering our members the chance to learn more about their business and explore career opportunities. Their involvement makes it possible to combine investing practice with direct exposure to the professional world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">About the Competition<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Interfood Investment Competition is one of three core activity of B&amp;R Beurs Eindhoven. In this competition, we challenge groups of our members to put money together and actually invest. It allows our members to quickly gain practical experience, to teach them in a fun way, and to share knowledge more effectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The groups that compete are called investment groups; these groups, registered at the chamber of commerce, compete over a period of 8 months, to find out who can manage their portfolio most effectively. The Investment Groups usually consist of&nbsp;7 to 20 members, and each group is independent, with its own rules and preferences. At the start of each year, existing and new members have the chance to join one of these groups. During our social- and matchmaking events, members find out with which group they fit the best, or whether they want to start an entirely new group from scratch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In these groups, members participate in discussion and vote on portfolio decisions. Each member chips in a predetermined sum; usually between \u20ac250 and \u20ac400, adding to a shared sum that the group invests.
